A Proud Launch: Designing the Stella Pet Services Website & Brand Identity

Some projects just click — creatively, emotionally, and professionally. Designing the Stella Pet Services website was one of those moments for me.

This project wasn’t just about building a website. It was about helping a real person step into ownership of their business, move away from third-party platforms, and show up online with confidence, clarity, and warmth.

🐾 Designing for Trust in Pet Care

Pet services are deeply personal. You’re not just hiring someone — you’re trusting them with a beloved family member. From the start, my design goal was clear:

Make the website feel human, trustworthy, and easy to navigate — without overcomplicating it.

I focused on:

  • Clean layouts that don’t overwhelm

  • Clear service information so clients know exactly what to expect

  • A welcoming tone that reflects Stella’s real personality

  • Easy access to testimonials and contact details

The result is a site that feels approachable and grounded, not corporate or generic.

🎨 Brand Identity: Simple, Warm, and Real

Rather than forcing a trendy or over-designed aesthetic, I leaned into what already worked for Stella’s business:

  • A friendly, conversational voice

  • Straightforward visuals that support (not distract from) the content

  • Consistent structure and spacing to build professionalism

This kind of intentional simplicity is a design skill in itself. Every choice was made to reinforce trust, clarity, and care — the same values Stella brings to her work with animals.

🧠 A Thoughtful, Fully Managed Build

This was a fully remote project, and I handled all aspects of the site:

  • Website structure and layout

  • Visual design and UX

  • Copy refinement and content organization

  • Platform setup and launch on Wix

I worked closely with the client to translate her services and values into a digital space that feels authentic and easy to use — especially for pet owners who may not be tech-savvy.

Why This Project Matters to Me

I’m proud of this site because it reflects how I approach design:

  • Collaborative, not prescriptive

  • Strategic, not just aesthetic

  • Built for real people and real use cases

Helping Stella Pet Services transition from a platform-dependent presence to an independent website is exactly the kind of work I love doing — empowering small businesses with tools that actually support their growth.

This project is a reminder that good design doesn’t have to shout — it just has to work, connect, and feel right. And this one does all three.
