Christmas Eve Gratitude: Since Reopening in June, Every Package Delivered

This Christmas Eve feels especially sweet.

Every order has been delivered.

Every package made it safely to its new home.

And for the first time in weeks, I can finally exhale.

Since reopening my Etsy shop in June 2025, 61 customers have chosen to support my small business—finding vintage books, comics, design history, and special pieces that carry stories forward. That number may seem small in the world of big commerce, but to me, it represents 61 moments of trust, care, and connection.

I’m deeply grateful not only for the purchases, but for the kindness that followed. This week brought in new 5-star reviews that reminded me why I do this work: thoughtful buyers, clear communication, and shared appreciation for well-loved items finding new life. Hearing that books arrived in excellent shape and exactly as described means everything to a seller who packs each order like it’s irreplaceable—because often, it is.

Running a small shop means wearing every hat: curator, packer, photographer, customer service, shipping department, and worrier until tracking says “Delivered.” So tonight, knowing every order since June arrived safely, I’m allowing myself something rare this season: rest.

To every person who supported my shop in 2025—whether you purchased a gift, left a review, shared my work, or simply stopped by—thank you. You helped make reopening my shop not just possible, but genuinely joyful.

Wishing you a peaceful Christmas Eve, a gentle holiday season, and many good books, art, and stories ahead.

With gratitude,

Laura 💚
