We started our evening at Volo Bar, tucked right into the heart of Market Street. Friday night means DJ night, and Volo was already buzzing when we got there. But after a bit, the volume made conversation almost impossible (DJ nights do that), so we wandered over to Hand + Foot, just a few blocks away. The vibe was mellow and welcoming, with low lighting and that relaxed buzz of a place that knows exactly what it's doing.

We grabbed a table, pulled out some Connect Four and a deck of cards, and let the night stretch out with good conversation and playful competition. Then came the food. One of the standout moments of the night: chicken in a bag. Yes, it was literally served in a bag, and yes, it was delicious.
